- A calm and practical approach when responding to rider incidents, injuries and changing
- conditions.
- Friendly and helpful customer service skills, ideally in an outdoor, recreation, tourism or
- community setting.
- Good judgement to spot hazards, trail defects and maintenance issues, and report them clearly.
- Practical skills for minor maintenance or outdoor labour tasks, such as clearing debris or using
- hand tools safely.
- Clear communication skills when working with visitors, team members, contractors and
- emergency services.
- Attention to detail when completing basic records, reports or incident notes.
- A reliable team approach, with willingness to follow procedures and ask for support when
